There has been a lot of buzz around these high tech aircrafts but not everybody might know that a new regulation from Ente Nazionale dell’aviazione civile (ENAC) has been set on April 30th 2014 to rule their usage in Italy. Among the most important requirements: the aircraft insurance, pilot authorizations and certifications such as a flying license (either civilian or for sports), an aeronautical medical certificate and a certificate stating that the pilot has attended a training for that specific drone.
